Blackwell Schools will be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather.

Dear BPS Parents,
As the winter weather forecast indicates potential school disruptions, we want to keep you informed about our backup plans for the upcoming week. In the event of inclement weather, we have three remaining snow days scheduled for this year. If we need to cancel school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, these accumulated snow days will be used. If the school closure extends to Friday, we will transition to a virtual learning day for that day. Our teachers and administrative staff will communicate the virtual day format to students and parents. If you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming weather related schedule adjustments, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the building administrators.
Please be safe over the next few days.

Blackwell Public Schools recently received a rebate of $44,049.75 for implementing LED lighting fixtures across the district. This initiative has brought significant energy efficiency improvements, resulting in substantial cost savings. In addition to reducing energy consumption, the transition to LED lighting also minimizes the need for frequent replacement of traditional light bulbs. This move contributes to a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly operation for the district.
